"Have been doing a Bible study with a former student for a couple of months now. We meet every week online to study the Bible. When she was in school years ago she never dreamed she would become a believer (she told me that today), but now we are reading through the book of Proverbs together.
Today we read chapter 8. She told me she likes this one because it is "mysterious, I feel I am there, and I feel love and hope." She said that she felt that when she was a new believer and didn't do anything about it, she didn't get any benefit. But now she prays and that is her "standard." It helps bring her back to a place where she knows everything is going to be okay. (She also goes to a fellowship on a regualr basis.)
She liked what it said in verse 18 about "with me there are riches and honor" because she said God is money. She didn't mean actually He's money. But she really mean that figuratively and literally God provides for our needs and gives us what we need.
